Digital and analog mixing consoles
Allen & Heath consoles are popular with studios, churches and small venues because the workflow is straightforward and firmware updates stay free. Used SQ and Qu series desks hold value well when they come from single owners. The critical checks are fader response, encoder drift and touchscreen calibration, all of which can be tested in a few minutes.
Test every fader and encoder; single-owner studio desks are the safest buys.
